Aleksandra Stanek-Kowalczyk PhD
An expert in the field of responsible management and sustainable development. She specialises in strategic projects, in managing relationships with key stakeholders, in responsible sales, in the non-financial data disclosure, as well as in ethics and managing the organisation's impact on the environment.
Assistant Professor at the Warsaw School of Economics. For the last nine years, she has been associated with B4 consulting companies. She has successfully completed several consulting projects for the largest entities and capital groups operating in Poland and on foreign markets. She has worked for Polish and international companies and the State Treasury entities. She has experience in implementing projects for companies from various industries, including: logistics, financial, energy, mining, FMCG, ICT and pharmaceutical.
She was the author of the curriculum and the content supervisor of one of the first postgraduate studies in Poland on corporate social responsibility at the European University in Kraków.
She is a member of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Stakeholder Council and a Vicepresident of the Responsible Sales Declaration Council. She is a certified trainer (she has completed a one-year course for trainers). She has conducted several trainings for various groups: managers, entrepreneurs, students and other stakeholders. She was a speaker at diverse national and international scientific conferences, as well as many business conferences regarding management.
She was a member of the 305 Technical Committee dealing with social responsibility, including the ISO 26000 standard. She was also involved in the work of the Committee verifying the translation of the GRI G4 Guidelines into Polish. She was an adviser in the Benefactor of the Year competition and in the Social StartUp competition and a member of the Verba Veritatis contest.
She was named as one of 50 most important women of the Polish CSR. She has received a prize in the first edition of the "Man of Knowledge and Experience" competition, organised by the Coalition of CEOs-Volunteers. She was awarded a prize in the third edition of the Responsible Pen (Pióro Odpowiedzialności) competition for the best expert article on CSR.
She is the graduate of the Department of political science and management at the Jagiellonian University and the PhD (with honours) of the Warsaw School of Economics. She has completed (with honours) the MBA Management programme for Central and Eastern Europe at the Viadrina University (Haniel Foundation scholarship holder) and the international LEAD-Leadership for Sustainable Future programme.
